Bio
Neryl East - The Crunch-time Communicator - is a communication specialist who helps businesses during “crunch times” such as damaging issues, crises and change.
Neryl is a journalist by training and knows the engine room of business. She’s called on to advise CEOs on how to prepare for and manage change, and what to say when the proverbial hits the fan.
She has more than 30 years experience as a communicator, including over a decade in the rough and tumble of local government, and holds a Master of Arts and PhD in communication.
She’s provided expert communication advice during some infamous organisational crises such as the Wollongong City Council sex-with-developers corruption scandal. Her 2009 book on that subject, Named and Shamed, attracted widespread media coverage. In 2011, she interviewed international thought leaders for a new publication on managing change.
Whether you're after a keynote speaker who'll wow your audience with great stories, an engaging workshop facilitator or a trainer in any aspect of communication, Neryl hits the mark every time.
